If you love road trips and you're willing to spend approx 10hrs on the road - then sagada is the place to be! We drove from Manila to Banaue, then Banaue to Sagada, then Sagada to Baguio, then back to Manila. The zigzag roads are endless...quite boring so you gotta have a LIVELY COMPANY WITH YOU! A 4x4 SUV is a must, else I'm afraid you won't survive the rough roads from Banaue to Sagada. You wouldn't want to ride the jeepney, or it'll shake all your internal organs (literally!). Accomodation is really cheap. For only P200 per person + hot water of course. You wouldn't need a fan, and definitely not an A/C. Food price is reasonable. Yoghurt is being sold everywhere! Veggies are cheap. People are great. What else can you ask for?
GO PACK YOUR BAGS & MAKE YOUR WAY UP TO SAGADA!
